WELCOME TO ACADEMIA ARABESCA

Academia Arabesca is a cultural oasis with the much-needed calm that makes creativity flourish. We invite you to relax from the stress of the West in a peaceful oriental setting, finish your book, work on your doctoral thesis, write poetry, paint, meditate or just rest and be among all the beautiful things in the house.

For almost half a century, we have been delighted to experience how beneficial creative encounters are, for study and research as well as artistic inspiration. All the research and study groups, artists and performers who have visited us over the years have repeatedly attested to this. We are located in Stockholm, Marrakech and the Sahara desert.

RESEARCH, INSPIRATION & CREATIVE ENCOUNTERS

The core of Academia Arabesca’s activities is based on creative and open cooperation with other cultural associations, the general public, the educational system and the media, in order to spread a deeper and broader knowledge and understanding of the different cultural expressions in North Africa and the Middle East, with the aim of promoting peace, democracy and multicultural cooperation.
